The Hub is so diverse it really does suit everyone. A reasonably priced bar gets even cheaper on certain nights, there are awesome chill out sofas at the back and a nice sized stage and dance floor.

The staff are awesome and everyone always makes you feel welcome.

There's no dress code or clique you have to fit into, and they support local bands too. The place is small: if you see a band there, you are definitely going to get the chance to meet them after!

So many different acts have passed through Hub's doors and graced its stage; it has managed to drag huge acts from all over the world, and is possibly the only place in Exeter that tries to cover most styles. Amazing Southern Rock bands such as The Dexateens from Alabama, and Akiakane, an all female Garage punk band from Japan.

Some of the acts you might have heard of include Elliot Minor who have played their smallest shows this year there. Ginger, the vocalist of The Wildhearts, produced an amazing acoustic set recently; indie electro girls Robots In Disguise (The Mighty Boosh) were there not long ago, Power Metal band Panic Cell's only shows outside the larger venues at Exeter University have been at Hub. All of Beardyman's (British Beatbox Champion) shows have been at the venue, so have top Dubstep djs Skream and N-Types. Let alone a surprise show from The King Blues. The list is endless: Glasvegas, Yeasayer, Big D and the Kids Table, The Wedding Present, The Duke Spirit, Time Again, Holly Golightly, Dan Le Sac Vs Scoobious Pip, Jose Vanders, The Clik Clik, Them Is Me (formerly Reef), the list is endless!
