Archant

With the pantomime season approaching, a peep in on a recent rehearsal at Exmouth’s Blackmore Theatre showed Exmouth Players on track for its production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, by Alan P Frayn.

With an enthusiastic chorus opening the show and a script peppered with traditional jokes and ‘it’s behind you’ routines, Snow White will be great fun for all the family.

There is a handsome prince, a beautiful maiden, goodies and baddies to cheer and boo and plenty of song and dance.

Comedy is in the capable hands of Mike Hamilton as palace housekeeper Edna Bucket and Caroline Markham as Chuckles, the court jester. Playing the ‘desperate duo’ is Les Hunt as Justice Quill, well partnered by Brian Toye as his clerk Scribbles.

Snow White opens on Sunday, December 10, at 2.30pm, and then runs from Tuesday, December 12, to Sunday, December 17. For tickets, call 07484 509514
