Saveur restaurant opens in Exmouth

A new restaurant has opened in Exmouth.

Saveur is located at 9 Tower Street, the former premises of the award-winning Les Saveurs.

The new restaurant has been launched by Nigel Wright and Kerry Dow, formerly of The Rose and Thistle at Rockbourne near the New Forest.

A sample menu is now available on the Saveur website.

Starters include cherry tomato and shallot tarte tartin with Vulscombe goats cheese, grilled courgettes and toasted almonds (£6.95), and crab tart, with fennel, crab and watercress salad, orange dressing and saffron aioli (£7.95).

Mains include: marinated guinea fowl breast with Parmesan mash, roasted artichoke, chorizo and salsa verde (£15.95), pan-fried wild sea bass, with smoked haddock brandade, confit peppers, asparagus and roasted new potatoes (£18.50) and West Country rib eye steak, with pomme anna, charred shallot, roasted carrots and garlic puree (£21.50).

Desserts include prosecco and elderflower jelly, with strawberry salad, strawberry sorbet and pumpkin seed granola (£6.95).
