The Bicton Inn in Exmouth's Bicton Street has plenty of musical entertainment this month. At 5pm this Saturday (October 14), there's virtuoso rock guitarist Joe Wibley and dynamic piano player, singer songwriter Jacob Hillman, performing a selection of covers and originals.

That’s followed at 5pm on Sunday (October 15) by Tim Royce and Steve Songi, playing a wide range of rock, pop, rock ‘n’ roll, country and blues covers.

There’s an open folk session with Becky Brooks (8.30pm, October 19), a RNLI charity musical event (from 5pm, October 21) and folk rock band Navigator (5pm, October 22), playing a mix of music from Woody Guthrie to Gershwin, Little Feat and James Brown.

At the end of the month there’s a four-day ‘spine-chilling’ Hallowe’en Beer Festival (October 26-29), including a Scary Folk Night (8.30pm, October 26), Bicton Street Blues (9pm, October 27), a Musical Spectacular (5pm, October 28) and singer-songwriter Daniela Ruettinger (5pm, October 29).
