The programme of summer concerts in the Pavilion gardens continues with a varied programme throughout August

The Saturday afternoon outdoor concerts in the gardens of Exmouth Pavilion continue throughout August, with a different line-up each week.

On August 11, the duo Silk & Strings will perform a selection of imaginatively rearranged cover versions and their own material. Their range includes music by Louis Armstrong, The Velvet Underground, Adele, REM and Amy Winehouse, and they are constantly adding to their repertoire.

Following them is the La Moreau Blues Band, a five-piece blues and rock combo who are named after the location of the music holiday in France where they met.

Saturday 18 is rock ‘n’ roll day with the Downtown Daddyos, a four-piece band playing music from the 50s and 60s, including rhythm and jive. Their mission is to get the audience on their feet dancing, and their reviews suggest that they usually succeed. Next that afternoon is The King – Elvis tribute act Barry Paull will perform a selection of Presley’s best-loved hits.
