More yo-ho-ho as Budleigh's Treasure Island approaches

An altercation took place recently on Budleigh beach as rehearsals continue for the town’s forthcoming pantomime ‘Treasure Island’.
A treasure chest was the cause of the fight.
“Everyone knows that chests contain riches – the desire of all dastardly pirates!” said a panto spokesperson.
“No blood was shed, thank heavens, as Dr Killham-Hall – who is clueless about medicine – would have needed to tend the cutlass wounds inflicted by the young pirate to old Billy Fillet.”
Treasure Island is at the Public Hall on Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4 from 7pm, plus a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Tickets, available from Card Shop Too and the Tourist Information Centre, cost £8 per person (adults) plus under 14s rate of £5 for the matinee.
