Poet Sarah Acton will be signing copies of her latest publication in Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton this Friday (December 15).

The 48-page collection of poems and prose, printed on 100 per cent recycled paper and card, has been inspired by Sarah’s involvement with local museums over the summer, including Exmouth Museuem and Budleigh’s Fairlynch Museum.

As Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site poet-in-residence, Sarah has been working with organisations and museums along the 95 miles of Jurassic coast. Her aim has been to produce ‘site-responsive work’, inspired by the living coastal landscape and earth history.

Sarah will be signing copies of the 150 limited numbered edition, for sale at £6 each, at The Point in Exmouth (noon-1pm) and the Feathers Hotel in Budleigh (2pm-3pm). She’ll be happy to discuss her work.

“I’m passionate about connecting with the land, myth, poetry, story and studying the bardic tradition to develop my poetry practice,” she says.
