This Saturday (November 4) at 7.30pm, Isca Voices with the Isca Band will be performing at St Peter’s Parish Church, Budleigh Salterton.

The concert, directed by Stephen Tanner, is a fundraiser to repair and improve the organ in the church.

In 2008, Tanner created an opportunity for former Exeter cathedral girl choristers to continue singing together, and “Isca Voices” was born.

Isca Voices aims to perform not only from the vast wealth of religious choral music from across the centuries but also to sing music from the folk, jazz and popular repertoires in close harmony.

The concert also features the Isca Band, a group of former boy choristers who explore improvisation and the performance of popular musical styles.

Tickets for the concert are £9 each, available at the Tourist Information Centre in Budleigh Salterton (01395 445275) or at Exeter Visitor and Tickets (01392 665885) or on the door. Under-16s free.
