PIER Head Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of works from legendry Exmouth artist Malcolm Horton.

Malcolm's vast portfolio includes portraits of inspirational people as well as images inspired by environmental issues, the wonder of nature both on land and within the oceans, fantasy worlds and mythical creatures and magical visions of light, spirit and energy.

Malcolm Horton's fascinating career as a professional artist has seen him commissioned by Greenpeace to produce his iconic work Rainbow and The Rubicon, touring with Black Sabbath and designing album covers, and producing murals for the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) and George Harrison.

In the 1970s Malcolm was approached by poster giants ATHENA who commissioned him to reproduce many of his pieces for sale in the UK and around the world, making his artwork instantly recognisable.

Malcolm Horton's original paintings will be on display at Pier Head Gallery, Exmouth, on Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20.

Malcolm will be on hand on Saturday from 2-5pm to chat about his experiences, his work, and to sign prints and posters.
