The ‘Season of Sundays’ – the series of free rock, folk and blues concerts and jams in Exmouth’s Manor Gardens – is continuing this coming Sunday (July 9) between 1pm and 3pm.

It’s in a new guise, with the series being renamed ‘Picnic in the Park’.

There is no charge, but a collection will be made to cover expenses.

Food and drink will be available at the Bumble and Bee café, or, say the organisers, ‘you can bring your own picnic’.

This Sunday’s show features rock from Extractor and Telstar (July 9).

That’s followed by Acoustic Gallery with The Barefoot Bandit’s Laurie Ward and friends (July 16), Bicton Inn folk session (July 23), Martin Weller and friends (new and emerging local talent, July 30), Blues in the Gardens (August 6), Exmouth Folk Club (August 13) and an Exmouth musical extravaganza, presented by Malcolm Horton (August 27).
