Back by popular demand the great Centre Stage will be staging Fiddler on the Roof from Monday, April 5 to Saturday, April 10. As the play begins, Tevye, a Jewish milkman, tells of the customs in the little Russian town of Anatevka.

Back by popular demand the great Centre Stage will be staging Fiddler on the Roof from Monday, April 5 to Saturday, April 10.

As the play begins, Tevye, a Jewish milkman, tells of the customs in the little Russian town of Anatevka. It is 1905, and life here is as precarious as a fiddler on the roof, yet, through their traditions, the villagers endure.

Tevye has five daughters and the production revolves around their decisions about who they want to marry, and the implications those decision have for the family.

The show has many familiar songs in it, and is one for all to enjoy.
