Enjoy Gospel music from Orkney

Orcadian musician Michael Harcus brings his 2008 concert tour to Exmouth in March. He regularly tours the UK from Aberdeen to Southampton and from Wales to Lincoln.

Orcadian musician Michael Harcus brings his 2008 concert tour to Exmouth in March.

He regularly tours the UK from Aberdeen to Southampton and

from Wales to Lincoln.

This is the first time he has performed in Devon. He is a regular at the Whitby Gospel Music Convention and was winner of the Best Folk Group award at the New Christian Music weekend in 2007.

The concert will include songs from his five albums, described as a mix

of Bluegrass and Christian contemporary country.

It will be held at Exmouth Baptist Church tomorrow (Saturday, March 8), at 7:30pm. Tickets are £2.50 and can be obtained at the door or in advance from Steve Langford on (01395) 265028.

Michael will also take part in services at the church on Sunday at 10.30pm and 6.30pm.

The evening service is an 'In Conversation' where he will answer questions on his life in Orkney and on tours, as well as his music.
