Exmouth Musical Theatre Company (EMCo) is currently half-way through its run of Acorn Antiques, Victoria Wood’s smash-hit musical soap opera parody, at the Exmouth Pavilion.

The show – which continues until this Saturday (June 10) – is described as an ‘all-singing, all-dancing, spectacular’.

“Risqué and ridiculous, it’s crammed full of missed cues, fumbled entrances and Marigold gloves,” says an EMCo spokesperson.

Director Helen Rushton says the show is such a marked contrast to the company’s last hit, Evita.

“This time audiences will be crying with laughter at the hilarious script and outrageous song and dance numbers,” she added.

Tickets are available from the box office on 01395 222477 or online at www.ledtickets.co.uk. Raised tickets are: £17 (adult) and £5 (child) while standard tickets are £15 (adult) and £5 (child).

Performance times are 7.30pm, with an additional 2.30pm matinee on Saturday, June 10.
