A comedy performance with a difference is coming to Budleigh Salterton.

‘Stand Up Spirituality’ – described as a show ‘where comedy meets spirituality’ – is being presented by Jeanie Rebane at the Venture Hall on Moor Lane EX9 6QE on Saturday, June 10, starting at 7.15pm.

Originally from Yorkshire, Jeanie (then known as Jean Foster) moved to Budleigh Salterton in the 1970s. She used to perform in local Christian Aid concerts at the town’s Public Hall and at the Methodist Church Hall where she was a member.

Now based in Wales, Jeanie’s show is ‘part comedy and part personal story of unusual coincidence’s which led me to go to Peru and Bolivia and culminated in a ‘awakening’ and photographing weird phenomena’.

“This will be a show unlike any you’ve seen or heard before,” promises Jeanie.

Tickets are £5 from The Card Shop, 3 High Street, Budleigh. For more information, email: rebania@ntlworld.com
