With the WooHoo art exhibition now in full swing at the Exmouth Ocean, there’s also a comedy element to proceedings at the venue.

Comedy teacher and speaker Maggie Irving is hosting some free daytime talks today (Friday, March 9), and in the evening she teams up with Cliff Gorman to deliver ‘entertaining and quirky’ talks on boundary-breaking art.

Maggie will discuss her journey to become a female clown through the medium of the overlooked ‘Queen of Dada’, Baroness Elsa, a mischievous, creative and radical performance artist and poet.

Cliff will talk about enigmatic German performance artist Joseph Beuys. Tickets are £5, plus booking fee.

Maggie is also offering a ‘Crack It! Evening Comedy Class’ from 7pm to 9.15pm on Saturday (March 10). Tickets are £8, plus booking fee.
