Celebrate Father’s Day with some welly wanging at Exmouth’s World of Country Life

"Welly wanging is the event everyone's talking about," says a World of Country Life spokesperson.

To celebrate Father’s Day, Exmouth’s World of Country Life is calling on all dads and granddads to join in its welly-wanging competition.

“Welly Wanging Part IV – Return of the Wang” is at the family attraction on Sunday, June 18.

“It’s the event everyone’s talking about,” says a World of Country Life spokesperson. “And it’s back by popular demand!”

All dads and granddads get free entry to the park (when accompanied by a fee-paying adult or child) as well as free entry into the welly wanging competition, with prizes for the winners.

As well as the welly wanging, there’s the usual daily activities, such as goat walking, animal handling, bottle feeding, lamb racing or ferret racing (depending on weather), the Hawkridge Birds of Prey flying display and the Deer Train Safari. Exmouth’s World of Country Life is at West Down Lane, Sandy Bay, Exmouth EX8 5BY (01395 274533), 10am-5pm. More details: www.worldofcountrylife.co.uk/
