Bicton Street Blues

The Bicton Inn, in Exmouth’s Bicton Street, has lined up plenty of entertainment for the next few days.

On Friday, August 11, at 9pm there’s Bicton Street Blues, fronted by Exmouth bluesman Dave Gwilliam accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Olly Davy.

On Saturday, August 12, at 5pm there’s Guy Somerfield, a singer/songwriter who will be performing covers and originals.

Charismatic singer Sara Corser appears at 5pm on Sunday, August 13. She’ll be performing a selection of popular songs from the 1960s to the present day.

On Tuesday, August 15, at 9pm, there’s the first Bicton Jam Night. “Everyone is welcome to come along and join in with this new, regular jam session,” say the organisers. “You can lead a tune or just play along with everyone else, or read a funny poem. All musical genres welcome!”

And on Thursday, August 17, at 8.30pm there’s an open folk session hosted by Becky Brooks.
