The Exmouth Players are holding open auditions for their Christmas pantomime, Aladdin.

Anyone can come along including non-members of the Players, and people of all ages, including children.

Spokesman Trevor Brice said: "It doesn't matter whether you have acted before or not, or have any experience of performing on stage. Just come along and enjoy the fun and experience of it all."

The auditions will take place throughout Sunday, July 14 at The Blackmore Theatre. From 11.00 there are auditions for any of the characters; from 4pm there are ensemble auditions for adults, and at 4.30pm for junior dancers/ensemble.

The performances are on Saturday, December 7, Sunday 8, and Tuesday 10 to Sunday 15. Anyone auditioning must be available for all the performances.

It would be helpful if anyone definitely planning to audition could contact publicity@blackmoretheatre.co.uk giving their name, age and what part they are interested in. "However, we are fairly relaxed about this, so if you are undecided whether to audition until the actual day and just turn up. You will be more than welcome," said Mr Brice.
