The Salterton Drama Club’s next production will be A Fine Bright Day Today, a poignant and enigmatic love story by Philip Goulding.

New director Ray Virr has assembled a strong cast, and rehearsals are now in progress.

Since being widowed, Margaret Harvey has lived with her daughter Rebecca. Now Rebecca is moving out, so when she meets visiting American artist Milton Farnsworth, she invites him to lodge with her mother.

The play will run at the Salterton Playhouse from June 5-9 at 7.30pm, with a matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday, June 10.

Tickets (£8) from Budleigh TIC (01395 445275).
