The Woodbury Park Acorn men played their first friendly match of the season at Woodbury, writes Carole Pye.

They entertained WGA-Sampford Peverell and landed a four-and-a-half to one-and-a-half success.

Although a clear win for Woodbury, it could have gone either way with several of the games not being decided until the 18th hole.

The team now look forward to the return match in June.
