EXMOUTH Archers held a double fita competition with archers attending from as far away as Wales, Andover and London.

The event was contested in glorious weather conditions and local Exmouth archers did very well across the two days of competition.

Paul Wood won both the DCAS and double-round in the Gents Compound and he also received the Master Bowman classification award.

Phil Carder finished sixth in the DCAS and fourth in the double, whilst Timothy Pratt won the DCAS event in the Gents Recurve Division.

There was also a fine performance from Ryan Oliver who came fourth in both the DCAS and double in the Junior Recurve.

It really was an exceptional set of results from the Exmouth contingent, especially given the size and quality of the opposition in the competition.
