Two good wins for the Budleigh bowlers

It was a good week for the Budleigh bowlers, as they recorded two impressive wins against Exonia and Sidmouth. 
First up were Exonia - played over two mix triples rinks and an overall win for Budleigh 31-26. Margaret Avery, Peter Burch and skip Paul Griffin won 17-10. On rink one Melissa Camp, Tony Gooding and Mo Bond rallied well in the second half to close the gap and just lost out 14-16. 
Against Sidmouth there was a win on both rinks with David Tomlinson, Nicola Lowe and skip Paul Griffin recorded an overwhelming 29-7 victory. Ann Vincent, Peter Burch and Mo Bond triumphed 17-14. 
In the Triples League, Team Elm Bob Clifford, Graham Anderson and Simon Weclawek levelled the score on the penultimate end and then scored the winning shot on the last end to record an exciting 11-10 win. Team Willow - Derek Stanley, Andy Skudder and skip John Dill played consistent bowls against Team Oak to record a 19-11 win.
