THIRTEEN year old Morgan Tinsley swept the board on Saturday when he beat over 120 competitors to win the Clinton Centenary Vase with an excellent score of 39 Stableford points.

THIRTEEN year old Morgan Tinsley swept the board on Saturday when he beat over 120 competitors to win the Clinton Centenary Vase with an excellent score of 39 Stableford points. In February, Morgan was playing from a handicap of 15, since when he has played some terrific golf and reduced his handicap by a further seven strokes so that he is now playing off eight. His ability and competitive nature have been recognised at County where he has represented Devon at junior level.On Sunday, another outstanding young player, Matthew Latham (handicap 2), beat established County player Tom Woodhouse to win the Banfield Trophy in the summer scratch knockout final.
