Terror Pins in danger of folding as secretary and captain depart

Tomorrow (Friday), The Robins take the short trip from the football club to The Feathers Inn to contest the Woodbury and District Skittles Association League Cup Final against either the Spuddlers (Woodbury) or Black and Whites (Ottery St Mary), all three having missed out on the Premier championship, more details below, write SpursTom.

In the A Division both Cock Robins and The Robins fell away to about mid-table positions whilst Stumpers slide down to the B Division.

Taking their place in the top flight will be Rolle Rebels as champions of B, where Silly Billies and Prize Guys remain. Cricketers step up from C. Olives 8 are about halfway, and with Mr T finding some end of season form the Terror Pins starved off relegation, but not so Otterton Rollers. They will be joining Steamers, Ticklers, Devonex Rovers, Loungers and Ravens in League D next season.

In the Ladies League Budleigh’s Clangers finished second, Bantams third and Henbirds fifth .

News regarding Colaton Raleigh and Newton Poppleford normally appears together with Budleigh’s, so here’s how teams from those two venues faired. Exiles relinquished their title by finishing third in the A Division and Flying Bolts ended in ninth spot.

King Pins, Clinton Kids and Survivors are all OK in B Division.

Raleigh Boys and Franks Boys both stay in C, not so Cannonites who could be on their way to D. Woody’s Woodpeckers are smack dab in the middle of the Ladies League.

Sadly, Sue and Chris Gatter, secretary and captain of Terror Pins have now decided to call it a day, even as players, so the team may fold!

Ravens may also disband as they struggle to recruit replacements.
