Feniton hosted Brixington Blues U11s in the second round of the Exeter & District Cup, and it turned out to be a fine day for the Blues.
The visitors took an early lead through Henry Turner and never looked back as four first half goals from Henry, three from James Curtis, one from Jye Hill and one from Oliver Morgan, gave them a big lead.
Manager Jason Morgan made some changes and replaced Leighton Low for Oliver Murdoch, Henry Turner for James Messenger and James Curtis for Kyle Hawkshaw. The pace did not slow for the second half as Kyle bagged a brace, Jye Hill grabbed a second and a returning Henry scored another four, including a late penalty, with James Curtis and Jye Hill also finding the net again.
A clean sheet was ensured by the solid backline of Ren Woodhall, Riley West and Lucas Hill, leaving a quiet morning for goalkeeper Lucas Marles.
