Exmouth Bridge Club had sixteen pairs competing in the Devon Bridge Association simultaneous pair’s event last week.

It was a competition held in support of the Devon Air Ambulance and total donations from the club to the charity were £122.

With one club’s results still to be registered, Shelagh Hughes and Les Spencer were lying in second place whilst in fourth position sit Diane Lasseter and Ann Hughes.

Four of Exmouth’s members did exceedingly well in the Devon Pairs event.

Gaynor Wiseman and Dick Andrews were the overall winners while Terry Cannon and Chris Hall finished third.

Gaynor Wiseman also won the accolade of coming second nationally for the most number of points in 2012 for category 2.
