LYMPSTONE Amateur Boxing Club is calling all members past and present to help celebrate the club's 40th anniversary.

The club, which trains several nights a week at its gym base in The Parade, Exmouth, will host a reunion to mark the past four decades, at the Pavilion on Friday, November 14.

Event organiser Neil Parsons is hoping to hear from those affiliated with the club in its past, and has invited club patron Sir Jimmy Savile and president Frank Maloney as special guests

To contact Parsons, call 07882 826566, or email nparsons2@aol.com, or lympstoneboxing@aol.com.

Meanwhile, Lympstone will host their final tournament of the season on Friday, May 9, featuring 14 bouts and planned Exmouth ABC versus Lympstone ABC match-ups.

Tickets for the Pavilion show are available from Steve Cudd at Autosave in Exeter Road, or Parsons.

Organisers are hoping for a full house similar to the one Exmouth ABC pulled in recently for their show at the Pavilion.
