Withcyombe under-9s were too powerful for hosts Totnes as they stormed to a 15-2 win in South Devon.

Withycombe under-9s were back on form at a cold, wet and muddy Totnes where they powered to a big win, writes Carl Cartwright.

Jason Farrant opened the scoring within the first minute followed swiftly by Ben Bolwell with a second try.

Some great tackling by Harry Cartwright enabled Jason Farrant to score the third before a good run from Joe Blyth led to the ball being passed to Oscar Moles to cross for a fine try.

Ieuan Tew proceeded to score the next followed by two great tries from Joe Blyth. Totnes put up some good defence but were no match to the heavy tackling of the Withycombe forwards and the speed of the back row. With Withy eventually emerging as 15-2 winners.
