Withycombe Under-11s bagged a brace of handsome victories when they took on a spirited, but depleted Exeter Saracens side.
Game one saw Withies quickly settle into their attacking stride, and it was no surprise when Charlie Passmore waltzed in for the opening try within minutes of the start. Man of the Match Sam Skinner added a quick-fire double on the wing after unselfish play from the excellent Alfie Gillard.
This was soon followed by a brace from opposite wingman Henry Bragg and two more from young Passmore, the latter sealing yet another hat-trick of tries and Withy went into the break with a 35-0 lead.
The entire team was changed at half-time and Saracens opened the second half scoring. That proved to be as good as it got for them though as Withy had the final saw with Harry Bennett completing the scoring with the games final try to seal a 40-5 success.
Withy then dominated game two which was against a now tiring Saracens outfit.
Some of the Withy passing was of the highest order and tries were scored at regular intervals.
Bennett (2), Skinner and Bragg all crossed to leave Withy 20-0 up at the break.
In the second half Withy eased their foot off the gas, but still served up four further tries, two from Passmore and similar from Gillard as a 40-10 victory was claimed.
The Withy Man of the Match award went to the ever-improving Henry Bragg for his excellent all round play.
