Tomorrow (Saturday) Withycombe will be hoping that it is indeed a case of ‘third time lucky’ when they try once again to travel to - and play - Ilfracombe in a Tribute Devon One game.

The last two planned meetings between the sides have fallen foul of the weather with, on each occasion, a water logged pitch being the reason for a postponement.

Last weekend Withycombe continued their super start to the season, chalking up an eighth successive win, bagging a 52-12 success at South Devon -based New Cross.

Tomorrow's game for Withy is being played at the Brimlands (EX34 9QN) home of Ilfracombe with kick-off being 2.30pm.
