Exmouth 2nd XV were in dominant form as they won 75-12 on their visit to Teignmouth to contest a Devon Merit table fixture.

With a half-time lead of 29-5, it set up the second half for some terrific open play from the Cockles.

First-half tries were scored by Harvey Ridgeway (2), James Goss, Sam Fulthorpe, Jake James Graham and two conversions from the boot of Harry Ottaway.

After the break, the Cockles stepped up the pace of the game.

The forwards were in control at every set piece which in turn gave the pacey backs plenty of time on the ball.

Further tries came from Ethan Langson Justice (2), Rich Cadywould, Dan Armstrong, Joel Ranft while Jake James Graham grabbed his second and wingman Harvey Ridgeway completed his hat-trick before Harry Ottaway touched down and converted his own score.

The Cockles 2nd XV have no game this coming weekend (October 13).
