EXMOUTH Quins played their re-arranged fixture against Torquay RFC second team and came away with an emphatic victory.

Quins dominated in all areas to eventually win 68-8 and, as the score line suggests, it was a very comfortable afternoon for the side who were rarely troubled by a weak Torquay team.

In the first half there were four tries scored. Terry Mears crossed for a brace whilst the others fell to Dave McCarthy and Tom Elliott, with one conversion by Andy Powell, making the half time score 22-3.

The second half saw nine tries scored as Seb Phelps, Matt Ryan, Andy Powell, Russ Sayer, Sean De Loze and Tom Elliott all crossed the Torquay line before Jack Downie ran in two late tries, with Andy Powell kicking a further three conversions.

Torquay did managed a late consolation try of their own, capitalizing on a Quins lineout error.
