It was again a case of the Nomads enjoying supreme territorial advantage, but without being able to get points on the board.

It all started so well and their early pressure paid off with Andrew Binmore slotting a penalty over.

Conditions deteriorated and this made handling very difficult, but the Nomads continued to look to play positively.

The visitors though, put up a stern defence and scored a converted try to go in at the break, leading 7-3.

When Nathan Bull went over early in the second half, Nomads regained the lead and, with just 15 minutes to go in what were now miserable, and worsening, conditions, the single point looked enough.

However, when Nomads were caught off-side in front of their own posts they paid a heavy price.

The penalty was duly tucked away, for Bideford to seal a 10-8 win.
