Withycombe Under-11s played a pair of matches with Kingsbridge and emerged unbeaten.
The first game saw Withy make a slow start and, as a result, they were dominated in the set-piece.
However, once the fleet-footed forwards got their game going Withy were soon dominating the ruck, continually pushing the Kingsbridge forwards off the ball.
Jason Farrant scored two Withy tries, both were converted by Oscar Moyle to put their side in the box seat.
The backs played very well with centre’s Finlay Frazer and Archie Symons working well together in closing down the opposition.
Oscar Moyle was unlucky not to score as he ran a great line which took him just short of the try line.
Kingsbridge defended well and worked a good try in the corner to pull one back, but Withy were not to be denied a deserved 14-7 success.
The second game saw fresh legs introduced in both teams and again the opening pace was very fast.
Adam Littlejohn played well in the forwards as did George Messom now playing hooker and grinning his way through the game!
Ben Bolwell scored the try after persistent Withy pressure was finally rewarded and Oscar Moyle slotted the conversion.
Kingsbridge continued to pass the ball wide and got a try their play deserved to ensure that another compelling game ended all square at 7-7.
