Exmouth Nomads bag home win over plucky Tiverton III

Exmouth Nomads claimed a five point bonus win from Tiverton thirds, who arrived for the game with just seven players.

In the spirit of the game, both sides mixed so that a short 12-a-side game could take place. Exmouth scored four tries through Andrew Smith, Lloyd Murrin, Jake James-Graham and Ross Matthews, all of whom converted their own scores with drop-kick conversion.

Ross Matthews also scored for the opposition when switching sides. The Man of the Match award went to Sam Millardship, making his return to action after an injury layoff with a broken collarbone.

The Nomads ‘Nightshirt’ went to Harry Griffin this week, for only managing to play four minutes before going off injured!

However, the undoubted ‘Highlight of the Day’ had to be when Exmouth fly-half Lloyd Murrin eased his way past usual teammate Aaron Conway playing for the hosts at open side!
