Archant

With no league fixture for the Exmouth Colts, a last minute friendly was set up at the Imperial Ground with Somerset side Wellington.

This proved to be a very tough day at the Office for the Cockles and they were four tries down before they had any possession!

Exmouth eventually managed to get their hands on the ball and were unfortunate not to take a couple of tries themselves, but the first half finished with Wellington leading 38-0.

The second half proceeded with a little more balance in the score with the Cockles having more possession and territory, however, only managing to score one converted try to a further two from Wellington which left the Somerset side winning 48-7.
