Exmouth RFC are holding a special naming ceremony at their game this coming Saturday (December 20) with Barnstaple.

The Imperial Ground meeting with Barum marks the start of the second half of the season for the Cockles. The club has a mascot that will be seen at all sorts of functions and event s involving the Cockles’ through until the World Cup next year. A competition to name the mascot has been organised by the club’s young rugby ambassadors – a scheme which is all tied in with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) build-up to the World Cup finals.

The game with Barum will also see a special half-time competition and the club hope they can attract as many supporters as possible to the match.
