Mixed fortunes for Exmouth and Withycombe in their respective league games on the first Saturday of November.

The Cockles had no fewer than eight different try scorer in a 61-10 mauling of Chippenham at the Imperial Ground.

With London Irish and Weston-super-Mare both also winning it leaves the Cockles still in third spot, five points behind leaders London Irish who still sport a perfect played ten, won ten record this season.

Withycombe slipped to a fourth defeat which probably ends any outside hopes of a top two finish this season.

Withy went down 26-15 at Tiverton, but stay fourth in the Cornwall and Devon table.

However they have slipped to 14 points shy of second placed St Ives and 15 points adrift of leaders Teignmouth.
