Buckley hat-trick as Topsham defeat Buckfastleigh

Topsham were in a clinical mood as they took apart Buckfastleigh in their latest Devon Two League game.
TOPSHAM powered to a Devon Two success at home to Buckfastleigh.
The Tops chalked up a half century of points and kept a clean sheet.
It was the perfect response to the previous week’s defeat.
The star of the show in terms of try scoring was Adam Buckley who ran in an impressive hat-trick.
Dan Jacobs bagged a brace and the single try scorers were Rupert Stanning, Colin Milkins, Tom Ricketts and James England as the Tops ran in no fewer than nine tries.
Skipper Jack Knowles put his trusty boot to good work as he was successful with five conversions and he also slotted a penalty.
It is all very close in Devon Two, with only leaders St Columb sporting a one hundred per cent record with five wins from five starts.
Ilfracombe are second, three points shy of the leaders on 20 points and third, with 18 points, are Dartmouth.
Topsham sit fourth after their first five games having yielded three wins and two defeats and they have 17 points.
