Asselman bags three minute hat-trick for Withy under-7s.

AFTER almost a month of no rugby it was great to see Raleigh Park on a beautiful sunny morning buzzing with over one hundred youngsters eager to get playing again for Withycombe Junior section.
Exeter Saracens provided the visiting opposition and a smashing time was had by all.
The Under-7s won both their meetings, writes Ben Asselman.
In the opening game it took Erin Asselman just three minutes to notch an early hat-trick.
A brace of tries from Charlie Passmore followed and then harry Bennett got in on the act before young Asselman finished what he started with his fourth and the young Withy sides eighth try of the contest to close out an 8-3 win.
The second game saw a superb show from Charlie Passmore who chalked up four tries whilst Harry Bennett and Erin Asselman both struck one apiece.
Samuel Skinner, who was the Withy man of the match with his support play and tagging, also got on the score sheet and an 8-5 success was sealed when Charlie Taylor set off on a mazy run, passing several Saracens players before scoring.
