Rowcliffe takes gold in Exeter

Callum Rowcliffe bagged a double gold when he appeared in Exeter at the South West Region Disability Swimming Championships.
EXMOUTH Swimming and Life Saving Society had one of their own do very well last weekend, writes Ian Lang.
Callum Rowcliffe was competing at the South West Region Disability Swimming Championships.
The gala was held in Exeter and had swimmers from as far away as Cardiff competing.
Callum, a member of the society’s competitive squad, was competing in his first gala and swam some fast times; particularly in the 25m freestyle and 100m breaststroke where he won gold medals.
He also came fourth out of 34 swimmers in the hotly contested 50m freestyle event.
Next up Callum is targeting competing in next years competition which is to be held in Bristol in January.
