Exmouth Swimming and Life Saving Society swimmer had a member swimming in a big South West event at Bristol last weekend.

Callum Rowcliffe swam in the ASA South West Disability Championships at Horfield pool, Bristol in what was only his second ever appearance in a major competition.

The youngster did very well.

Swimming in a number of events his greatest achievement was a third place finish in the 100m freestyle event.

He also managed a most creditable sixth place in both the 50m Breaststroke and 50m Freestyle in what were very strong fields in both events.

As well as the sixth placed finishes he managed to produce personal bests in the two events as well!
