Police Social Club A stretched their lead in the Exmouth Snooker League to five points with a four frames to one win over the Police C. Mark Rock 63-44, Carl Rowsell 82-74, Pete Abrahams 42-34 and Mike Delahaye 72-26 were denied maximum points by John Parrott 65-41.

Number Nine A retain second place despite defeat at the hands of holders, Number Nine B. They led through Iain Callander75-22 and Dave Thomas 53-37 before Dave McCarthy 63-26, Dan Abrahams 68-47 and John Duck 56-39 secured their fourth match win so far.

Police B recorded their third victory, one more than their latest opponents, East Budleigh. Despite wins for Frank Kelsey 56-45, Phil Rowsell 52-41 and Ashley Down 59-16, they remain at the foot of the table, but, with a game in hand. The two points for Barry Bentley 53-46 (re-spotted black) and Mark Auton 68-33 keep East Budleigh fourth.
