Police Social C first in Exmouth Snooker League to record maximum points victory

Police Social Club C were the first team to record a maximum points win in the Exmouth Snooker League this season.

Steve Spinner 65-58, Trevor Haylock 54-41, John Parrott 67-48, Ray Sturman 68-41 and John Anderson 66-32 inflicted this defeat on the Police B.

Police A remain top of the table, despite their first defeat after four matches. Mark Rock 97(38)-72 and Spike Delahaye 69-60 drew level with Iain Callander 71-34 and Tim Parker 58-18, before Dan Brown 71-48 won the decider to lift the Number Nine A to second place.

A similar pattern played out at East Budleigh as Russell Frame 84(39)-69 and P. Borkowski 52-39 led for the Number Nine B. Leo Dolling 50-33 and Barry Bentley 77-51 responded for the home side, but, John Sharland 62-30 clinched the champions their second victory thus far.
