Plymouth event deadline draws near

Rowers hoping to take part in the time trial Head of Plym are running out of time to get their entries in.

The event takes place on January 29 and the closing day for entries is this Saturday.

Two Divisions are being held at the event over a 3,500 metre stretch of the River Plym starting from the Cattewater and racing up river to the Plymouth clubhouse on the embankment.

High tide is at 1.45pm and the first race is away at 12.30.

In addition to all the usual events, the hosts are also taking entries this year from coastal-style boats.
