It has been another fairly quiet week at Phear Park, as we were due to have played Seaton away but it was decided that due to parking difficulties in Seaton with the Platinum Jubilee Celebration, we would move the fixture to Phear Park.

The match was due to be four triples but, unusually, Phear Park had more players willing to play, so we played a fifth rink with one team representing Seaton. The game went very well, even though we were playing under the threat of thunderstorms.

Phear Park won the overall match with a very credible score of 89 - 66, all four of the rinks against Seaton won their respective matches with the best score of 21 - 7 going to Simon Weclawek, Jen Derbyshire and John Horne.

Just a brief reminder that the Phear Park Bowls Club open day is Saturday, June 18 beginning at 10am, all welcome.
