A new bowls season finally beckons and there is great excitement for the summer ahead at Phear Park Bowls Club based in the centre of Exmouth and blessed with a rich history dating back over a century.
With the hopeful lifting of restrictions in June, Phear Park bowlers are now looking forward to the remainder of the season, adding friendly matches to the inter-club competitions that have recently begun.
Along with Bowls England's Bowls Big Weekend Initiative, Phear Park will be holding an Open Day on Saturday, May 29 between 10am and 2pm.
New bowlers are cordially invited to come along to Phear Park and give the game a try in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All equipment and light refreshment will be provided. Just bring along a pair of flat shoes.
