It was a fine weekend of football for Otterton in the Joma Devon and Exeter League.
Starting with the first-team and a difficult trip to Teignmouth, Otterton battled brilliantly to secure a 3-2 victory thanks to goals from Cameron Brown, Jamie Cardwell and Dan Tapp.
Not only was it a welcome win for the Otters, the result also lifted them above Teignmouth and into third place in Division 1 East.
The reserves at Otterton are fighting hard near the bottom of Division 4 East and a fine brace from Rian Hill, plus a Johnny Holmes strike, gave them a valuable 3-2 win at Lympstone, who are now just a point above the Otters and have played three more games.
The first-team travel to mid-table Clyst Valley this weekend, while the reserves are at home to bottom club Exmouth Town 3rds.
