Exmouth Bridge Club's Summer Championship is heading towards an exciting conclusion to the season.

THE Exmouth Bridge Club held the fourth of their six qualifying session for the 2010 Summer Championships last week.

There was, once again, some fine play with the top six players at the session achieving scores of 60 per cent, or better.

Rosemary Ormerod and Chris Hall took top honours with 69.05 per cent and that score was sufficient for Rosemary to edge ahead in the overall Summer Championships, though she does now need to play in both the final two session to qualify for the outright honours.

Carla Pickering came second with partner Roy Pickering and Carla sits second in the overall standings whilst Chris Hall is also in contention.

Also looking to finish on top are both Phil Palmer and Jennifer Flood who, after four sessions, have both maintained respectable, high percentages.
