Number Nine B take charge at top of Exmouth Snooker League

Defending Exmouth Snooker League champions, Number Nine B lead the latest table after Russell Frame 88-60, John Sharland 62-44, Jonathan Duck 81(27)-53 and Tim Thorn 52-44 were denied maximum points by Leo Dolling 79-26 at East Budleigh C.

East Budleigh C won the three opening frames at the Police Social Club C through Mark Oliver 55-31, Rob Marsden 61-38 and Trevor Hayman 52-38.

However, the final two games, won by Ray Sturman 68-37 and John Anderson 49-34 put the Police C second in the rankings.

Only a single point behind in third place are the Number Nine A, following four wins for Iain Callander 66-30, T.Parker 63-59 and Dion Newcombe 75-64.

Mark Rock gained the single point for the Police A (94-43) with his early stamp on the highest break, 61.
